Geeking Out on EvE

Today, I totally greeked out on EvE.  I asked myself the question “How would one determine their Skill Points per hour?”  This was something that I could have probably looked up but I love math so I decided to figure it out on my own. ( I still have yet to look it up and I probably never will )  The Equation that I derived from my own available skills is as follows:

SP/hr = (Primary Atribute Value * (60 * ( 1+ (Learning Level * 0.02))) + (Seondary Atribute Value * (30 * ( 1+ (Learning Level * 0.02))) – (90 * ( 1+ (Learning Level * 0.02)))

Example:  Primary Attribute Value = 19, Secondary Attribute  = 18, Learning Level = 5

SP/hr = (19 * (60 * (1 + (5 * 0.02)))) + (18 * (30* (1 + (5 * 0.02)))) – (90 * (1 + (5 * 0.02)))

SP/hr = (19 * (60 * (1 + (0.1)))) + (18 * (30* (1 + (0.1)))) – (90 * (1 + (o.1)))

SP/hr = (19 * (60 * (1.1))) + (18 * (30* (1.1))) – (90 * (1.1))

SP/hr = (19 * 66) + (18 * 33) – 99

SP/hr = 1,254 + 594 – 99

SP/hr = 1749

Easy as Pie… mmm Pie

Let me know if this doesn’t work out for anyone.
